 I tested the importer against my Livejournal.

 The import itself went well, no issues. I haven't checked every single
 entry but it seems to have got the entries and comments effectively.

 One small issue, it seems to struggle with single quotes in the comments -
 it's actually showing the code rathe than the quote as, for example

 {{{
 it's
 }}}

 Within the articles themselves the single quotes are being handled
 correctly.
