 @miqrogroove: You're a genius! - Thanks to your work and your patches it
 seems like my cron-jobs are executed again.

 Regarding my tests the patch on cron.php (changing the timeout from 0.01
 to 1) didn't do the trick but together with the second patch it looks
 better. In other words if I look into my cron-array it seems I miss some
 cron-jobs, but at least after a few reloads, every cron-job is executed.
 This is a similiar behavior I've observed from 2.8.0 to 2.8.6.
