 Standard everything here.. Only difference i can see if i'm running the
 Aero interface.

 I'll try on a few different machines today and compare. I'm pretty sure i
 had the same issue with 10.0 on an XP machine..

 Ah, IT could be, Because the checkboxes you've looked at are held within a
 {{{<table class="form-table">}}} which indeed does cause them to be
 visible for me.

 If you look at a checkbox inside most plugins which do not follow the
 "Settings table" style layout, you'll probably see what i mean. (I'll
 check on another machine later however)
