 i tried a minor change and added 'echo' => 0, as an $arg and saved it as
 $var. then i echoed the $var. so you can easily get and use the function
 as a template-tag. in my case i try to use it to enchance my search with a
 drop-down to search only specific categories.
  i added the function straight to my template and haven´t finished the
 search yet. but maybe it would be a nice addition.

 what do you think?
