 At the time of writing this, there are over 1100 bugs in trac, and many of
 them could use some kind of feedback or maintenance.

 Quite a few just sit there with a patch for no obvious reason beyond the
 fact that they didn't get reviewed or (as I think is more likely) got
 discarded without any feedback:

 For each one, please either:

  - commit; or
  - mark as needs-patch if the patch is no good (and explain, even in a
 line or two, so it can be re-engineered); or
  - close as invalid or wontfix (ideally with a reason)

 Or maybe add a few extra committers? The point being, WP would benefit
 from having a bug list that has a more reasonable number of items.
