 @demetris: Was there anything special about the plugins? What was the end
 result for the failing plugins (Ie. Deleted? Still there and not touched,
 Etc)

 Seems strange that updating plugins failed while themes were fine..

 I'll post up a plugin for logging the connection in a moment.
