 Patch uses the QuickPost plugin as a base.  Ported it to latest ui.tabs,
 added gettext,     switched to use script loader and
 wp_category_checklist(), and changed to WP code formatting.  It still
 needs some love, but this is a good start.  The shortcut link is in the
 postbox on the Write->Post page.
