 I personally reconise something with a darker background as being
 disabled, And white, sitting in with the rest of the page, to mean
 enabled.

 So i like it as it is.

 However, A Visual indication needs to be a bt more obvious, Just throwing
 ideas out, but, Italics on the deactivated plugins? It makes it fade into
 the background more.. Maybe text colour could be a bit duller too, shaded
 = disabled to me.

 But thats coming from a Windows world, those on other OS's probably have a
 different perspective.
