 Has anyone actually bothered to Google? Or read some of the posts at the
 Wordpress Support forum? Lots of people are asking for this feature.

 It's funny how Wordpress developers are quite happy to clutter up the
 interface (not to mention the database) with a new, complicated, and wide-
 reaching feature (revision control) yet won't add one small checkbox to
 the settings panel to allow it to be switched off.
