Comment:

 Next time an update is checked for (every 12 hours), That number will
 reset.

 I'll attach a patch which checks to see if any of the plugins in the
 update list are no longer installed.

 Note on the patch: Because the update check function is called after the
 menu's array are created, the number will be incorrect on the first
 pageload after the plugin has been deleted; however is correct for any
 furthur requests.
