 Functions like "wp_get_attachment_image" didn´t return thumbnail- or
 middle-sized images and it took me quite some time to figure out why.

 Test images are available here: http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/7278.

 I hope this issue can ce corrected soon. (Not inserting special characters
 into the db would be fine for me...)
