 Taking a cue from ticket 5684 (http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/5684) in
 note of there not being any paging preferences, perhaps later down the
 line an option for this could be added under Admin > Options > Misc. or
 elsewhere. I couldn't find any similar tickets but adding a preference
 option for each user with access to the admin panel to select how many
 posts/pages/categories/tags they wish to display for each, this would be
 especially useful once these items start growing into the hundreds.
