Comment:

 This behavior is unlikely to change for this release. As this is the
 behavior Matt prefers http://wpdevel.wordpress.com/2008/02/09/restore-ays-
 for-deletes/

 Mark Jaquith suggested an undo like system for a future release, but I
 don't think anyone has worked on it (yet):
