 The dashboard widget options array can get corrupted (dunno how, but it
 can). We should do a data type check before we attempt to use it as an
 array to avoid the `Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in
 [...]/wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php on line 46` error.
