Comment:

 It must be a plugin causing your error nickbohle because the `wp_post2cat`
 table has been removed as of 2.3-RC1.

 Try disabling your plugins one at a time and then publishing a post. Once
 you've found out which plugin is causing the error, do contact the plugin
 author and let them know their plugin is incompatible with 2.3.
