 rob1n, I know it is but some "important" things should have a fall-back if
 something goes sour (i.e. JS error), so you can at least still use it.

 I'm having similar discussions with my colleagues at work (dev'
 weblications), and it's a balancing act but we do our best to make sure
 users are still able to use the app even when it throws errors at them :-)
