 Recommend closing WONTFIX.

 I completely, completely agree with the observation. You are correct as to
 the semantics and usability implications of these terms. Unfortunately, I
 don't think the experience of the existing themes should be changed in
 this way.

 There is discussion of one or more themes being added in one of the next
 couple releases so that will provide the opportunity to influence the new
 theme's authors on this issue.
