 Hi Akatemik, thank you for contributing to WordPress development.

 It is best to write in terms of the problem before suggestion solutions.

 It is best not to include two issues in a single ticket: (1) writing pages
 for the future (2) time based versioning (not sure if that describes what
 you are looking for)

 The problems you are trying to solve do not seem to apply to most people
 using WordPress. If this is something you are patient about I suggest
 writing a plugin for this.
