 Is it possible to add global categories ala wordpress.com. There is a
 hack/plugin available however for this being essentially a community
 application it seems that this function should be part of the core
 framework with perhaps a admin disable feature in the site admin tools.
 Having this in the site would also allow using the search widget to search
 the entire site as opposed to just the blog.
