 say 48 hours (or even 24?)

 Currently the signups table is also used within the anti-spam measures, We
 could add a restriction based on date as well - but it complicates it a
 bit much for my liking.

 Adding a "Wrong email? _Change your email_" link that starts the signup
 flow again seems reasonable.
