 Most of the profile spam was being ranked 0.7-0.9 on the reCaptcha scale.

 Akismet is running on profiles now, where it wasn't a year ago, which
 started to catch a lot of the spam.

 I've not looked too closely, but if you have any examples of very recently
 created spam profiles I'd love to have a look :)
