 We've since been upgraded to SVN 1.9 - check the footer of
 http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/test/

 I've followed up with systems, but I don't see this as high priority, or
 even low priority, and I'd happily mark this as `wontfix` based on the
 age, and poor usability of plugins.trac
