 While I doubt more people would remember to use it, having a 'like' button
 (like we do for trac) that behaved similarly would give us the ability to
 allow people to follow a post without having to reply "Me too!"

 Possibilities:

 For a support thread (i.e. 'not resolved') - "Having this problem? Click
 here to follow the post via email."

 Then their gravatar shows up on the side bar "Also having this issue ...."
 so someone could see "Hey, 22 people are having the SAME problem!?"

 At the very least, a way to 'click here to follow by email...' is needed.
 I know that exists for bbPress 2.x so we may need to wait on that :(
