Mike, 
  This is a good idea and there is no reason this can't be implemented either.  Any sort of 'DSPish' algorithm could be used to calculate back the 'rating.'   I am sure a bunch of people on this list or others would be interested in this aspect of it.  I know this is right up my alley.
