[wp-hackers] possible to get next postid before publish?

Post IDs are generated when you hit new post, so you can add a meta box showing the current post ID without problem.

Is it possible to get the next post id before update,save or publish.

Example, add new post, and you show the post id in a metabox without any
saving, updating, or publishing.

Curious if anyone has done this before?
