[wp-hackers] The problem with Contributions and This Thread

This is insulting. Since you joined the community after I left you might not
know that I am darkdragon, santosj and jacobsantos. You combine those
aliases in terms of props and of patches contributed and you will see that I
have more than my right to dissent. Hell, I even have the right to sling mud
and I do on occasion, however in this thread, I have not. Dissent != 'mud
slinging' and you have problems if you think they do equal.

Furthermore, it is even more insulting that you straw man my argument and
completely ignored my original points. My believe is that dissent is looked
down upon and often ignored. You reply to the substance of my argument and
then we will talk.

You don't see that I'm trying to help the project. If you don't want to
focus on lower priority tickets, then give someone commit rights and let
them focus on it for you. I could never understand why this wasn't the
answer to the problem in all of the time I've been in the community. Also, I
fail to understand why more bureaucracy was the answer.

PS: If you combine those three aliases, I am in the top 5 of the list of
patches contributed. I am in the list of top contributors as based on props.
I will remain on those two lists even if I take off 3 years. The fact
remains that majority of contributors never help again. Majority of
contributors help with their problem and then drop off never to be seen
again.

PSS: If you wish, I can post the statistics and you can see for youself.

I've earned the right to make decisions. I don't think you've earned the
> right to sling mud.
