[wp-hackers] is there a way to filter what plugins show up in plugins.php page?

I could be wrong but I don't belive so.  I used to use a plugin called
Plugin Commander on a multisite install (back when it was a seperate project
called MU) and to customize what was shown on the plugins menu, I had to
disable the plugins menu and it made its own plugins menu.  Now things could
have changed since then though, but not afaik.
