[wp-hackers] Making money from GPL plugin development (Was: Advertising on plugin pages)

 I believe its possible to have some commercial success with gpl WP plugin
development. However its necessary to have a suite of plugins covering user
needs in a niche and adding real value to users. Free plugins, but with a
support membership, with a forum and tools to give even more value to
customers. It must be set up as a business and managed like a business, just
not some clever code released for free...  The key point will be the extra
value added in the support solution.

ad`s in plugins is not a great idea...
