[wp-hackers] advice needed about plugin repository

If you want to distribute the library across a few plugins, you could
set up the SVN:externals property, so that you only need to upgrade at
one place and have all the other plugin repositories updated. Just
like what Akismet is doing in the official WP subversion repository.

I have not tried it in the WordPress plugin repositories, but only in
my local repositories. Anyone tried this?
