[wp-hackers] Database padded with junk content

imho this is a total waste of energy to even consider. Each feed
cached in the options table is about as big as 1 or two posts from
your blog.

The above process might satisfy purists who don't want anything
unnecessary in their databases, but I think all normal people should
worry more about the effects of revisions or plugin-derived postmeta
(goddamn you, podpress!) on their database size instead.
