You're perfectly right. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a comment client made only for Windows, it's the author's choice.


Now supposing that there IS a person who might be willing to write a free, open-source, and cross-platform comment manager for WordPress, what would members of this list like to see supported/implemented in such a project?

We (NST) have been looking into ideas for open-source, cross-platform, desktop-based projects that add value to existing OS systems for a number of intern-like positions, and this seems like a good one...
