[wp-hackers] Thoughts on Trac ticket #3875 patch

    I submitted a patch several days and haven't received any word 
(probably due to the high priority security defects), but has anyone 
confirmed or tested the patch. My unit tests show that everything works 
fine, but I haven't tested any real world plugins.

I would rather keep the _wp_filter_build_unique_id() function, even if 
it is slower than placing the code internally in the add_filter and 
remove_filter functions.
