[wp-hackers] Why Can't Pages have Categories?

What would be displayed if you viewed that category?  How do you fit  
a page into a chronological listing of post?  And if you can't, what

Sounds like a neat idea, but it would require theme editing, and is a  
niche feature, so it wouldn't make for a good core addition.

You could also use the category description field for storing the  
category description if it's not worthy of having its own page (that  
is, display it on the sidebar for that category or something.)  Make  
sure you apply the appropriate content filters to it, so you get  
paragraphs and curly quotes.
