Indeed.  It's a concept I've had since I went through the tutorial from
Urban Giraffe that strips Kubrick down (removes the background images for
one).  I have a "blank" theme that basically takes that tutorial and the
stripped down templates, and a style sheet with all the divs and classes,
but without any of the actual style.  I've gotten some good feedback on my
blog from it, and think an updated version would be very useful to new
users.
