<div dir="ltr">I don't want to take this off track but I do want to add my thoughts to the "criteria" being used to choose the next Featured Themes ...<div><br></div><div>I don't agree with theme authors, or someone affiliated with a specific theme, nominating their own theme(s) ... if there is not enough interest from an unbiased community member to nominate the theme then maybe it shouldn't be nominated?</div>
<div><br></div><div>That being written, and excluding my themes from being nominated by myself, I do not have any recommendations at this time for a Featured Theme as I would much prefer a more random approach.</div><div>
<br></div><div>There are currently 179 pages of themes with approximately 15 themes per page ... I would be fine randomly(?) choosing the 13th theme on the 13th page. I have no idea which theme that may be as there are a few ways to choose the sort order but if it happens to be one of mine then go to the next theme on that page.</div>

*Advantage : All the theme authors will take care of the tickets raised<br>

2. Theme Authors' contribution QUALITITATIVE and QUANTITATIVE both to the<br>
WPTRT.<br></div>
*Advantage : More QUALITY and more speedy reviews will be the result.*<div><br>

3. There MUST be atleast 50% featured themes from the developers who<br>
never got chance to get their themes' featured.<br>
<br>
<br></div>
*Advantage : New theme developers will work more on quality assurance. *There<div><br>
may be some other factors as well. But FEATURING a theme can be a way to<br>
encourage WPTRT or the new theme developers who develop quality theme<br>
and/or adding value to the WordPress.org and hence this should be<br>
handled wisely and not randomly :-)<br>
