<div dir="ltr">A Child Theme is a dependent work, but is a separate work from the original. Thus, the footer credit link should be relevant to the Child Theme, and there's no really good reason why a Child Theme shouldn't be held to the same credit link requirements as stand-alone Themes.<div>

<div dir="ltr">Hello!<div><br></div><div>The guidelines say that author is allowed to put one credit link in footer. I'm reviewing a child theme where author put his credit link in the footer, but also left the parent theme credit link - in effect there are two credit links. Is that ok or should one of them be removed? If so which one?</div>
