<p dir="ltr">I know brother man. Values are worth nothing lately and please believe me when I say that. Ideas? I have them every few hours. Great and not so great. There's one thing for sure. You will always find a douche who will shut you down out of the gelaousy of some sort, or simply because he/she doesn't even understand or there is a troll or two around. When this changes, we will be #1. Till that time, enjoy the bumpy ride. So yes, support is still nogo.</p>

From what I remember, most theme authors definitely wanted this, as many authors do indeed have an official Support URI, as an optional meta field this never would have hurt those that don't.<br>
<br>It was never a give and take type proposal. It was something that would benefit say 50% of theme authors and have no effect whatsoever on the other 50%.<br><br></div>Granted, it's clear this idea was shot down and will never see the light of day again, this is merely an introspective conversation at this point since it came up again.<br>
