+1 to a Responsive tag. A few releases ago, it was reasonable to say
that it wasn't yet an understood or accepted term, but it's clearly
there now; moreover, it's something people want or need to search for
-- I've even heard people saying that there are only a handful of
responsive themes in the repo, when there are quite a lot. It's past
due.

BUT... the proper place for this discussion is a 3.6 guidelines
discussion, not a clarification of a completely different tag -- do we
have one of those yet?
I agree with Cais - but some have argued that it does mean responsive.

I have tried several times to get a new responsive tag added, but it seems
there is no consensus on the term to use: responsive or mobile friendly. Not
having a specific tag is a disservice to WordPress users, and I wish some
kind of tag could be added. At this point, I would vote for 'responsive'
since I believe that is fairly well understood.
flexible-width !== responsive

Think of flexible-width more along the lines of "fluid" width ... there
may be some "responsive" qualities but the basics are more along the lines
of the theme width / columns being full-screen width or of a similar nature.
Could someone explain to me meaning of flexible-width theme tag? Does
it mean responsive or something else entirely?
Best regards,
