<div dir="ltr"><div>I believe the intent is to take all that Post-Format goodness and wrap it into a plugin until it is ready to be re-implemented into core.<br><br></div>I would suggest conditional code versus removing the code altogether, especially since (AFAIK) the basic Post-Format code still remains that was found in 3.5.2 and below ... its just all the new fanciness they were going to add that was pulled (with a few exceptions for some image functions?).<br>

I've noticed a ton of functions gone for post formats in WP 3.6; gotta fix my themes for those functions being gone now..<br>
