As long as I remember, file_get_content isn't allowed in themes as Srikant already mentioned it can be used to advetise things that are not GPL.</p>

Anyway, can someone refresh my memory on the policy regarding content on theme options pages? Can I have the page grab a dynamic piece of HTML (say with file_get_contents('<a href="http://author.com/news.html" target="_blank">http://<u></u>author.com/news.html</a>') relating to other themes, new features, stuff like that?<br>

Or does it need to be hard-coded in to the admin page?<br>
