<div dir="ltr">I use a combination of WPORG support forums, and GitHub.<div><br></div><div style>I handle support questions on WPORG support forums, and shunt bug reports, feature requests, and forks/patches to GitHub.</div>
<div style><br></div><div style>For the users who already use GitHub, they submit bug reports and patches themselves. For non-GitHub users, I cross-post bug reports from the WPORG support forums to GitHub, with a link back to the original support thread (then link the GitHub Issue back in the support forum).</div>
<div style><br></div><div style>One of the real benefits of using GitHub Issues is that you can pull all that information out via the GitHub API, which makes writing change logs all that much easier/better. You can even pull those data into your Theme, perhaps as a support "panel" in the Theme Options page (or in a contextual help tab, as I've done in Oenology - feel free to take a look, and borrow/steal/modify the code if it's helpful).</div>
<div style><br></div><div style>But for the bulk of general support, as Justin says: the infrastructure is already there in the WPORG support forums, so it's in your and your users' best interests to take advantage of that infrastructure.</div>
