As per previous discussions with Chip, the up-sell Pro version is
GPLed.
But I'd like clarification of what else can be sold on the theme's
own domain or sub-domains. My theme in particular allows others to
design their own sub-theme and share it with other theme users via
a data file. Recently I've been approached by members of my user
community who would like to create a marketplace to sell their
design services, banner images, and sub-themes they've designed to
use with my theme. These people would probably prefer to not GPL
their designs.

Ideally, I would like to create a subdomain of my support site and
include links to the marketplace. Is there any policy on this kind
of arrangement? Would it require a link to a totally independent
domain name, or is a sub-domain ok. I'm assuming that theme
support sites are allowed links to sites that sell stuff. None of
the links will appear directly in either the free repository
version, nor in the Pro version.
Thanks.
