It's been a while since I installed the test data on my site, but I vaguely remember having to edit each post and reassign the post to the appropriate format after activating post formats in functions.php. Then the proper classes are applied.<div>

<br>In the current Theme Unit Test file, posts published as post formats (aside, chat, video, etc.) haven't got their specific <span style="font-family:courier new,monospace">.class</span> selectors. For instance: Post 'Aside' should have <span style="font-family:courier new,monospace">.format-aside</span> selector, post 'Chat' should have <span style="font-family:courier new,monospace">.format-chat</span> selector.<br>
Without them is impossible to try or even see the customized look if one decide to use css-styling for this. <br><br>Of course if you create new posts WP implements the selectors correctly but you have to make at least 5 - 6 more test posts :)<span><font color="#888888"><br clear="all">
