@Michael -

1. The image captions are not required to be "boxed" but there is a requirement for them to be addressed in the style.css file.

2. Once the theme is accepted into the Trac system then you are free to add comments to the appropriate ticket; simply log in with your developer name and post accordingly.

3. Theme Unit Test data can be discussed on the mailing-list ...

4. As Frumph already replied, the textdomain and namespace would be the same, 'yourthemename' and 'yourthemename_' respectively.
Hi,

I've been working with the Theme Unit Test data and trying to get my theme
read to be submitted. Still much work to do, but should be done soon. I
have a few questions regarding the process and certain requirements.

1. Image Captions: In the "Gallery Test" post there is a caption on the
first image which reads "This should be centered and a box behind it."
Stylistically, I would not want to box my images in. Would the theme be
denied for not wrapping captioned images in a visible container?

2. Once the theme is in the queue will I be able to post a message to the
reviewer before the theme is reviewed? For instance, the CSS will not
validate.

3. I've found a few things in the Theme Unit Test data that could be
addressed for best possible results... use of inline styles, non threaded
comments, etc... Is this the best place to let people know about these
things? If so I'll report back.

4. P2 ate the comment that I posted on this thread:
http://make.wordpress.org/themes/guidelines/changes-wp-3-1/

The important part of my comment was in regards to the following line:

"Themes are required to use theme-slug as the Theme’s translation
namespace, and as a prefix for all custom Theme functions and options".

This is the first time that I have heard the term "theme-slug" used before
and I don't really know what one is. I can think of two possibilities: The
sanitized version of "Theme Name" as defined in style.css or the sanitized
version of the name of the theme's directory. In either case, I think that
some clarification would be helpful in the guidelines.

Thanks for your help!
-Mike
