Here's another reminder of why we always have to check Theme URI. The submitted Theme (there were actually three from the same developer) contained no information regarding a requirement to maintain the footer link, but the developer's website indicated that retention of the footer credit link was a condition of use of the free Theme, that required purchase of the "paid" version in order to remove the footer credit link.<div>
