ok, ok ... let's get the Suspend stick out.<br><br>We need a full list of all the authors themes that this is an issue with and a notice written and sent.<br><br>Then they can be suspended.<br><br>Updates will get un-suspended quick enough with our review priority sequences.<br>

This is the primary reason why I check for license before anything else - it's way too easy to overlook the myriad licensing issues. I always check for:<div><br></div><div>1) style.css License and License URI headers</div>
<div>2) Presence (and content) of license.txt</div><div>3) footer credit/copyright links</div><div>4) functions.php, for anything hooked into the footer</div><div>5) PHP file headers (a sneaky place for "do not remove" type statements</div>
<div>6) HTML comment blocks (another such sneaky place)</div><div><br></div><div>Licensing and (egregiously) improper credit links are two "showstoppers" for me. I will close a ticket without further review, for either one.</div>

Just a heads up on licensing issues. Saw this post in the forum and<br>

First, the requirement to keep links intact is directly against the<br>
review guidelines. Easy to miss though, I missed it first too.<br>
<br>
However, the second one took me a minute to research and be sure.. The<br>
"GNU Free Documentation License" is NOT compatible with the GPL. That<br>
one is way too easy to miss:<br>
