[theme-reviewers] Are GPLv2 fonts allowed in GPLv3 licensed theme?

Hello,

I'm reviewing a theme, and a bundled font (genericons) but the license  
says it's GPLv2. Not sure if there's a conflict between using this in  
a GPLv3 licensed theme. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Should I ask the theme author to change the theme license to GPLv2?
