To fill in your "not sure" items, at least as they were originally intended:

Flexible Header: The custom header image can be a user-selected size rather
than one fixed size.

Featured Image Header: If a post or page has a featured image of the
appropriate size, it will be used in place of the header on single views.
Twenty Ten and Twenty Eleven are the most common examples.

Front Page Post Form: There is a form that allows users to post directly
from the front page without going into the admin. P2 is the most common
example.

Interesting to note that all of these are yes/no, either the feature exists
or does not questions -- nothing subjective like "seasonal" or even the
colors. Once we decide on a way to document and enforce this stuff, these
are all things that could conceivably be automatically checked.
