Sure, to be clear, I wasn’t complaining about that here, but using it as an example where the interaction might turn sour depending on sensitivities of those involved. No doubt, few theme reviews go down like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6avWk2mavk :-).

I think so too. Between the documentation, the theme check plugin(s), and reviewer comments there are a lot of helping hands for the theme author.
