  I don't assign any specific location. It usually just appears at the bottom. I don't mind moving it to the Appearance panel, I just wanted to explain my situation and see what you all thought.

      Hey Chip,


      My themes have been using add_menu_page() and I think some of my users might end up getting confused with the change of the theme options link location. Plus, I would like, if possible,  to keep a uniformity between my free themes and my premium themes. My Premium themes have multiple theme option links to organizing design and layout options, and using a new menu panel makes it easier to group these together. I know this might not be a valuable reason, but I just wanted to state my case.
